AVA, Mo. (KY3) – A Douglas County grand jury indicted a man for the 2017 shooting of a man near Fordland, Mo. Howard J. Applegate, 28, of Ava, faces charges of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child in the death of Lance Terrill.
