After the incredible week of unusually warm winter weather, many people (including myself) are upset this weekend hasn’t been as pleasant. We went from sunny to soggy. The good news is we’ll be getting back to sunny very soon, have to get through today.
Rainfall from last night will linger into the morning hours for the majority of the Ozarks. Once we get into the late morning, we will begin the drying-out process.
Widespread rain will transition to hit-or-miss showers for the afternoon and early evening. It won’t be until later tonight that we will be free and clear of all wet weather threats. Thankfully, cloud cover and moisture will be pushing out of the region tonight.
Temperatures today will be far from the warmth we have gotten used to as of late. Highs on peaking in the upper 40s, with temperature threatening freezing for an overnight low.
Warmth bounces right back on Monday. Plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid-50s. The jet stream will once more open the door for mild weather to flood into the Ozarks.
