SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A man has been arrested after stabbing another man in the hand Friday night, February 9.
According to Lt. Ringgold with the Springfield Police Department, the stabbing occurred at a business on Glenstone Avenue at about 7:30. The victim ran to another business down the street to call the police.
When officers arrived, the man accused of stabbing the other man had fled, but officers were able to track him down and arrest him on Stuart Street about an hour later.
SPD said the two men know each other, and the man who was arrested may be facing charges of assault.
