UPDATE 11:02 a.m. — Route 14 has reopened, but the Nixa Police Department (NPD) advises there are still slide-offs in the area and drivers should be cautious.
A Facebook post from the City of Ozark said a stuck 18-wheeler caused the initial closure.
NIXA, Mo. — The Nixa Police Department (NPD) is advising drivers to avoid traveling on State Route 14 between Nixa and Ozark.
In a Facebook post , the department said authorities have closed Route 14 between Cheyenne Road in Nixa and 32nd Street in Ozark due to slide-offs and slick road conditions.
NPD also shared a photo of several vehicles that had slid off the roadway due to the snow.
