MILLER, Mo. — The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has identified remains found Tuesday on a farm near Miller, and says his death is likely a homicide.
According to a release from LCSO, an autopsy helped determine the identity of the remains as 40-year-old Larry Rysted of Greenfield, Missouri.

Farm workers found the body in an overgrown brush patch on Feb. 13 while picking up rocks. The remains were badly decomposed and may have been there for several weeks, according to LCSO.
The Lawrence County Critical Incident Team has been activated to help with the ongoing investigation.
