We’ve been trapped in the freeze the last couple of days as temperatures haven’t been over 32 degrees since Friday morning. The good news is this streak comes to a close today.
Temperatures will be rocketing up to the 50s across the Ozarks with plenty of sunshine. Light westerly winds and the warmer temperatures will make today a great day to get outside.
It only gets nicer from here. The warmth will stay locked in place for your Presidents Day thanks to an atmospheric ridge developing: upper 50s and mostly sunny conditions.
Tuesday should comfortably reach the 60s as we will keep on climbing up the thermometer on Wednesday with highs in the 70s.
Rain chances are looking grim for the start of the week, its towards the end of the week chances become more likely. Specifically on Thursday, the threat of wet weather becomes a real possibility. The Ozarks can see a good soaking dousing our well above average temperatures. Additionally, I can’t rule out the potential for thunderstorm development at this time.
