Cozy up with new reads from the Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale

Stock up on winter boredom busters by finding the perfect books this fall and winter. Own some of your favorite movies, CDs and classic vinyl records. Add some new games and puzzles for family night.

The Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale returns Sept. 11-15. Kicking off with the Friends Night Preview Sale on Sept. 10.

A few notable items available in this fall’s sale include a large collection of vintage science fiction novels, many books by Edna St. Vincent Millay and two signed books by former astronauts.

Come early; these items will go quickly!

Variety and treasures are why the Friends’ book sales are wildly popular. That, and because most adult, young adult, children’s books, DVDs and CDs are just $1, or $2 and up from the Better Books side.

Shop the sale early at the Friends Night Preview Sale from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10. Friends members can shop that night for free; non-members can pay $5 at the door to become a member and shop.

There’s no admission for the regular sale:
