SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Traffic on I-44 will encounter delays and a detour west of Springfield tonight.
All eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed at the Routes P and KK interchange near Hood’s Truck Stop.
MoDOT says the shutdown will allow its crews to work on the overpass.
Traffic will keep moving although slowly using the on-an-off ramps past the work site.
The detour starts at 7 p.m. and ends tomorrow morning at 7.
A similar closure and detour is planned Wednesday night.
