SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A judge sentenced a man for the death of his wife in late May of 2022 in Springfield. Jacob Hodgkins, 32, of Springfield, entered a guilty plea of second-degree murder in the death of his wife, Ada Hodgkins, 42. A judge sentenced him to 28 years in prison.
