More rain, warming up for the work week

Good evening, Heartland, we are tracking showers, mostly in southeast Missouri but there are still a few isolated showers in northwestern Tennessee, western Kentucky, and southern Illinois. A few thunderstorms could pop up, but any that do would be isolated, with main concerns being heavy rain, lightning, and possible gusty winds. As we head into the work week, expect more rain in southeast Missouri, mainly in the western most counties. This rain should begin moving out by later in the afternoon, leaving much drier conditions through the afternoon. In the morning, lows will be in the mid 60s, warming up to the mid 80s by the afternoon. After the rain moves out of southeast Missouri, expect partly cloudy skies across the Heartland.
