OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) – A few showers have popped up this afternoon across southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri. These showers are expected to diminish as we cool off this evening. Overnight, we are dry with lows in the low to mid 60s under partly cloudy skies. We are expecting a mix of clouds and sun across the area tomorrow morning, with some areas seeing more clouds than sun. Our skies gradually become partly cloudy tomorrow afternoon, however, and then become mostly clear tomorrow night. Highs tomorrow reach the mid to upper 80s and lows tomorrow night fall into the low to mid 60s. The rest of the week will show little change in the weather. Highs are in the mid to upper 80s each day, lows are in the 60s, and skies remain partly to mostly sunny. Our next rain chance doesn’t arrive until next weekend, so make sure youre keeping your plants watered and remeber that plants in pots need more frequent watering then plants in the ground.
