SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The first patients in southwest Missouri recently received a new treatment for Alzheimer’s. Staff at Citizens Memorial Hospital’s infusion center in Bolivar gave a patient kisunla this week. It’s the first health system in Missouri to offer this treatment option. Doctors must diagnose the patient using biomarker testing to be eligible for kisluna.
