Springfield welcomes fall with Cider Days on Walnut Street

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Springfield’s sure sign of fall will return to its home on Walnut Street this Saturday and Sunday. The 26th annual Cider Days will bring fall fun for the whole family.

“Bring your kids, bring your grandma, bring the person you just met,” says Hailey Mangus with the Downtown Springfield Association, “It’s a great first date.”

While some Cider Days vendors will be local to downtown, Mangus says many will be coming from all over the Ozarks, “We’ve got people from all over the area. You’ll find incredible pottery, handcrafted woodworking, painting and jewelry. All kinds of stuff from all kinds of places around here,” shares Mangus.

Mangus also suggests coming hungry, “We’ve got crafters and artists, and we also have performers dancers and singers. We’ve got the best food you could ask for. It’s truly one of my favorite weekends of the year.”

Cider Days will run on Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22, 2024. The gates at historic Walnut Street will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online .
