NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Travelers beat the Springfield Cardinals Friday night 6-5 to advance to the Texas League Championship Series.
For the Travs, this is the second season in a row to beat the Cardinals to advance to the finals.

In 2023, the Travs lost in the championship series to the Amarillo Sod Poodles. This year, they will be facing the Midland Rockhounds.
The team hopes to claim their first Texas League Championship since 2008 and will start the series in Midland on Sunday before returning to North Little Rock for game 2 of the series on Tuesday Sept. 24 and game 3 if necessary the next day.
