One man arrested after crashing car into Amazon in Republic

REPUBLIC, Mo. — A man has been arrested after crashing a car into the Amazon building in Republic.

According to the Republic Police Department (RPD), officers were called to 3200 E. Sawyer Rd. at around 1 a.m. on Sept. 23.

RPD says a man crashed the vehicle into the building, then took off on foot. Officers found him later and took him into custody.

Charges have not yet been filed, and the suspect’s name has not yet been released.
