SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3)-On Monday, developers announced a new push to rezone land at Sunshine and National at Springfield City Council. Developers with Be Kind and Merciful have tried several times to get the northwest corner zoned for commercial use. Those behind the request say this proposal includes several provisions to protect the surrounding neighborhood, including a wall and large trees between businesses that go up and nearby homes.
