That same day, Marshfield police went to Rueckert’s residence and found the victim — later identified as Jonathan Miller — deceased in a bed. They also found a handgun in an SUV driven by Rueckert to Dallas County before she turned herself in.

Rueckert told law enforcement she was upset with Miller after she found text messages to other women on his phone.

A sentencing hearing for Rueckert is scheduled for December 4, 2024.
