Two months after rumors began to circulate on social media, it’s here: a limited-edition “SpongeBob SquarePants” meal at Wendy’s.
The “Krabby Patty Kollab” will be available at Wendy’s restaurants starting Tuesday, Oct. 8, as part of the cartoon’s 25th anniversary celebration. The meal will include:
- Krabby Patty Kollab Burger: Quarter-pound beef burger, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, a “top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce,” all on a bun;
- Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty: Vanilla Frosty with pineapple-mango flavored puree swirl;
- French Fries.
News of the “Krabby Patty Kollab” began to circulate in mid-August, when a photo of a paper memo was shared in a SpongeBob group on Reddit, which outlined the collaboration. At the time, neither Wendy’s nor Paramount, Nickelodeon’s parent company, confirmed the special meal.
