NIXA, Mo–Evangel returned to Nixa Saturday afternoon for Homecoming.
The Valor kicked off the game, ranked 19th in the latest NAIA poll and sporting a perfect 4-0 record.
Evangel hosting former Heart of America foe Avila.
The Valor has never lost to the Eagles in a home game.
And Evangel led 14-nothing in the second quarter when Reid Potts hits Rafe Darter with the play action pass, Darter picks up a first down to keep the drive alive.
Then Potts would hit Broc Lyle with this 14 yard touchdown pass and it’s 21-0 Valor.
It was 21-3 Evangel at the half, and the Valor opens the third quarter with this 39 yard Jonah Edwards field goal and it’s 24-3.
Later in the third quarter, Potts with the one yard touchdown dive, and it’s 30-3.
Still in the third quarter, Evangel keeping it on the ground, this is Cameron Harris taking it up the middle for a 14 yard touchdown run, 37-3.
And Evangel continues its dominance of Avila winning 44-3.
