SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A crash near Sunshine Street and Grant Avenue has left a motorcyclist dead.
According to a press release from the Springfield Police Department (SPD), officers responded to the crash at around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Andrew Carroll, 25, of New Orleans, Louisiana, was riding a green Kawasaki Ninja westbound when an eastbound Honda Pilot made a left turn to head north on Grant Street. The two collided in the intersection.
SPD says Carroll died at the scene.
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation, SPD said, and anyone with information is asked to call 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous tip by calling 417-869-TIPS (2477).
