Very, very, very lost in all of the SEC chatter is Missouri. It’s way more in the SEC title and College Football Playoff hunt than everyone is letting on.
That’s because the offense collapsed lately with QB Brady Cook out – he’s not expected to play this week, either. But if the Tigers can pull this off and win out against Mississippi State and Arkansas, at 10-2 they’ll be right there in the discussion.
South Carolina is playing as well as anyone in the SEC. It handed Texas A&M it’s only SEC loss, had no issues with thorn-in-side Vanderbilt, and the losses to Alabama and LSU were by a combined five points.
It’s the SEC finale for the Gamecocks with Wofford and at Clemson to close.

Why Missouri Will Win
The defense has to attack and it has to tackle.
Texas A&M missed too many stops in its blowout loss to the Gamecocks. Missouri couldn’t do anything right against Alabama or Texas A&M, but overall the defense has been solid against the run this season – nine of the ten rushing touchdowns allowed came in the two losses.
