Today will be colder with highs struggling to make the mid-30s this afternoon. Breezy northwest winds will ease a bit this afternoon but wind chills will still feel like the low 20s. Air temperatures will be near 20° overnight tonight and we stay seasonally chilly through the weekend.
Milder weather returns on Monday with a chance for rain right behind. Rain is looking more likely late in the day Monday through the day Christmas Eve. The latest guidance suggests rain will wind down towards Christmas Eve night. Fog and drizzle may persist into Christmas morning and clouds may be tough to get rid of during the day.
The early week storm will fade with plenty of leftover moisture. This will likely help keep clouds and a risk of fog around into Thursday. An active storm track will usher in the next storm by Thursday or Friday. Showers and some thunder are likely along with another round of soaking rainfall.
