A cold front this afternoon will cool us down to the mid-20s overnight tonight. Friday will be chilly with temperatures around 40° in the afternoon. Then we get into the weekend and a chance for rain, ice, and snow.

Saturday will be dry and chilly with increasing clouds. Precipitation should begin Saturday night and last through the day Sunday before shutting down Sunday night.

Northern Arkansas will likely see rain and nothing else during this time. Meanwhile, north of the state line into Missouri, we will likely see rain transition to a wintry mix/ice on Sunday before ending as light snow on Sunday night. This is especially true for Central Missouri. Accumulations of freezing rain, sleet, and snow appear possible north of a Stockton to Buffalo to Eminence line. Only very light accumulations are expected further south.
