As temperatures begin to slowly temper back above freezing, celebrating the academic achievements of our newest Student of the Week are sure to make the weekend even brighter.
This week Kickapoo High School’s Toby May was selected for the title. The senior is part of the inaugural Fly SPS class, a two-year program that allows high schoolers to work toward a private pilot’s license.
As May finishes his required assessments to be a private pilot, he is considering potential careers in aviation such as a flight instructor and eventually a travel or commercial pilot. He is excited to complete his final semester of Fly SPS which will include an internship with an aviation business…
