PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Two customers were stabbed at a Phelps County restaurant on Monday afternoon.
According to the St. James Police Department, the customers were protecting a juvenile employee who was being harassed at the restaurant in the 200 block of State Route B around 3:05 p.m. The customers confronted the suspect, Patricio Jose Padilla, 45, of Kansas City, and asked him to leave.
Police said that Padilla then entered the employee-only area where the juvenile was, and the customers intervened, attempting to restrain him and escort him out of the store. At the door, Padilla reportedly stabbed the two customers with a knife…
