WEBSTER COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – A woman from Seymour pleaded guilty to charges involving a deadly crash with an Amish buggy in June of 2023.
Julia Young pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle carelessly and imprudently. A judge suspended her sentence for one year and sentenced her to two years of unsupervised probation.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Young was driving her 1999 Mercedes 320 on C Highway two miles north of Seymour. Investigators say she went to pass the Amish buggy and hit the back of it, throwing three occupants out of the buggy: a 23-year-old man, a 24-year-old woman, and a baby boy…
