Cards stacked against rural pharmacies in the Ozarks

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) — Cody and Allison Freeze own Greenfield Pharmacy. Like many other rural pharmacies across the state and the country, they are working to turn a profit and provide for their community.

“It has been tough on the patients that we see. We see people every day dealing with the cost of medicine,” said Cody Freeze, the co-owner of Greenfield Pharmacy.
