Lethal amounts of fentanyl found in traffic stop led to Warsaw man’s indictment

SEDALIA, Mo. (KCTV) – A traffic stop near Sedalia has led to an indictment by a grand jury for one Warsaw man after lethal amounts of fentanyl were found in his possession.

Pettis County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Feb. 5, indicate that Douglas G. Henke, 59, of Warsaw, has been charged with trafficking drugs after fentanyl was allegedly found during a traffic stop.

A probable cause statement filed by the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office revealed that around 11:55 p.m. on Oct. 26, law enforcement officials stopped a GMC pickup truck in the area of S. Limit Ave and Meadowlark Rd. for inappropriately tinted windows. During the stop, a Sedalia Police Department K-9 unit was requested to help search for possible narcotics…
