SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A sewer pipe broke in Springfield, leaving two holes in the ground for the city to repair.
A sanitary sewer lateral — which is a pipe from a home — broke where it connected with the sewer main.
The city says the leak made the ground around that connection give way.
