Missouri – A Fire Weather Watch is in effect Monday across parts of Missouri, as gusty winds and dry conditions increase fire risks.
According to the National Weather Service in Springfield, the Fire Weather Watch will be in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Monday for counties along and west of Highway 65. South winds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph, are expected. Relative humidity could drop as low as 23%, creating conditions favorable for wildfires.
