St. Louis, MO – Severe thunderstorms are forecasted to sweep across central and northeast Missouri late Saturday night, bringing hazardous conditions to the region before dawn.
According to the National Weather Service St. Louis, the storms are expected to arrive after 3:00 a.m. Sunday, with the highest impact targeting areas near the Missouri-Illinois border, including Jefferson City, Hannibal, and St. Louis. Gusty winds reaching up to 60 mph and hail as large as half dollars (1.25 inches) are possible, with a Level 2 (Slight Risk) designation currently in place.
