From the Darkroom: Teen Town Council’s March of Dimes dance demonstrated youth engagement

On March 16, 1959, the Teen Town Council organized a dance at the O’Reilly Community Center to benefit the March of Dimes.

The event was a community effort, with the admission fees donated to support the organization’s mission. The dance, which brought together local teens for a night of fun and philanthropy, was part of the ongoing efforts to raise awareness and funds for the March of Dimes’ fight against polio and other birth defects.
