Man gets probation after 12 women, children found in U-Haul

WEBSTER COUNTY, Mo. — The second of two men arrested in Webster County for carrying multiple women and children in the back of a U-Haul has entered a plea to amended charges of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child and will spend a year in supervised probation.

According to court records, Musa Omar entered an Alford plea today in Wright County Circuit Court. The case was being heard on a change of venue from Webster County.

Originally charged with seven felony counts of endangering, Musa entered the plea under an agreement with prosecutors and imposition of a potential prison sentence was suspended.
