SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Police Department reports two people were shot early Thursday morning and one suspect is in custody.
According to the Springfield Police Department, officers responded at 12:47 a.m., to the report of shots fired near Kearney and National. Two victims with gunshot wounds were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
