CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — An Osage Beach man is facing charges after allegedly trying to drag an employee out of Macadoodles Tuesday morning.
According to a probable cause statement, police were called to the liquor store around 9:23 a.m., April 1, for a disturbance involving a man later identified as 54-year-old James Glen Perry. Witnesses told officers Perry had entered the store, began yelling and making strange statements, and then tried to physically take an employee out of the building.
A witness said Perry put his arm around the employee and attempted to pull them outside before being stopped by other staff and a customer. Perry then reportedly left the business and got into his Dodge Challenger, where officers found him upon arrival.
The employee later told police they cried, fearing Perry, “was taking me away with the tight grip he had on me,” according to the PC statement.
While in custody, Perry allegedly made inappropriate comments toward another employee, referring to them as a “goddess” and making unsettling remarks about “smelling the roses.”…
