Vegan chef challenge returns to Springfield for second year
Last year, Springfield chefs competed to show who had the best vegan options in the city . They’ll get another chance to show off this year starting May 1, according to a press release.
The Vegan Chef Challenge is a competition that allows area businesses to show off their skills when it comes to plant-based menu options. Diners can then try the dishes and vote on their favorites online through May 31.
So far, this year’s participants include Not’cho Ordinary Taco, Mama Jean’s Natural Market, Greek Belly and Cellar + Plate. As of April 17, organizer Vegan Outreach is still seeking additional businesses to participate. Interested parties can sign up online …
