Damaged weatherheads slow power restoration for some Springfield residents

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Some neighborhoods in Springfield remain without power days after Tuesday’s severe storm.

City Utilities has more than 300 people working 16-hour shifts overnight to restore service. It says the remaining impact is in smaller areas. Progress may slow down, but work is still underway, and it could be next week before things are back to normal.
