STORM RECOVERY: Springfield Environmental Services to waive brush fees, expand operations beginning May 2

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) – Following widespread tree damage caused by the April 29 storms, Springfield Environmental Services will waive brush disposal fees and scale up operations at the Yardwaste Recycling Center and Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill facilities beginning Friday, May 2, to accommodate community cleanup efforts.

The city of Springfield and Greene County have worked together on this solution.

Those with small, residential loads of tree limbs and brush are advised to go to the Yardwaste Recycling Center (3790 S. Farm Road 119, Brookline, Mo.) for disposal. Larger, commercial-scale debris, including large-diameter trees and root balls, is directed to a burn site at the Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill (3545 W Farm Road 34, Willard).
