SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Some Springfield neighborhoods are going on day four without power.
Crews with Springfield City Utilities explained why it takes longer for some homes to get power before others.
“Let’s say there’s a neighborhood next to the hospital. The circuit that feeds the hospital is also the circuit that feeds the neighborhood in some cases. That neighborhood will come back on because we’re trying to bring the hospitals back on, so that’s why it can look like some areas get preferential treatment, but it’s really not.
