SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3)—A bill up for public hearing Monday night at the Springfield City Council meeting hopes to approve a redevelopment plan for a needy apartment building.
What is currently known as the Stillwell Columns Apartments on Campbell Ave. could soon become the Pinnacle on the Park Apartments if the city approves the special ordinance. The apartments have existed since 1982, and a blight report shows that the building has a wide range of problems, such as water and ceiling damage, elevator issues, and asbestos in the flooring.
