GREENE COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – People living near Springfield who take Historic Route 66, or Missouri Route 266, on their commutes say they sometimes go out of their way to avoid the area near highways AB and B because of how backed up they can get.
According to MoDOT, 7,300 vehicles pass through the half-mile stretch of road every day. That’s comparable to roadways like the Kansas Expressway and West Bypass.
