The Christian County Library Board of Trustees, which has been the center of both turnover and turmoil in recent months, has another new member. The Christian County Commission appointed Kelli Roberts to the board on Friday, June 20.
The appointment was made for the East County trustee position that covers the Sparta area. Roberts is the director of admissions at Drury University. According to her Drury staff page, she holds a bachelor’s in business administration and a master’s degree in communication – leadership and change.
Presiding Commissioner Lynn Morris said there were four applicants, with each interviewed by the commissioners individually. The commissioners took a blind vote on their top pick. Roberts received two votes while Sherry Leonard received one…
