SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – This week, the public day-use beach at the Harry S. Truman State Park tested almost four times the recommended amount of E. coli.
The supervisor of the park, Josh Greer, said that beaches can test high for many reasons.
“That can come from a variety of factors, as far as rain, excessive rainfall like we’ve had this year. There are a lot of Canadian geese down on that beach that contribute,” Greer said…
