Yesterday marked day four of 90° weather. We’ll tack on a couple more before the week is over as the heat dome pattern is unlikely to change. At least, not until after the weekend.
The heat dome is large and in charge for several more days yet. A stalled frontal boundary is located to our west across the Plains. This has generated rounds of scattered showers to our west, but the boundary quickly lost steam once it encountered the heat dome.
A “wash and repeat” mode is expected through Thursday. The overnights will…..
