SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – With the Independence Day holiday approaching and trauma cases expected to rise, Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is issuing an emergency appeal for O Negative, O Positive, and A Negative blood types.
CBCO says supplies of these critical blood types are dangerously low, with less than a one-day reserve in some cases.
