GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 20-year-old woman from Springfield has died in Sunday’s storm.
According to the crash report, a large tree blew over at around 4:50 p.m. on Meadowlark Drive, 0.3 miles southwest of Springfield, due to the high winds from the severe storms on Sunday afternoon. The tree then fell onto a southbound 2017 Honda CR-V.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been notified of her passing…
