A few non-profits in the Ozarks will go with little to no state funding after governor vetoes their requests

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Several local nonprofits will go without the funding they were hoping for after Governor Mike Kehoe vetoed their requests.

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Southwest Missouri also known as CASA of Southwest Missouri and Live 2 Give Hope are two non-profits whose missions are to serve the community with a focus on kids. Both now without hundreds of thousands of dollars they hoped would survive the state’s budget.
