A Lake of the Ozarks animal shelter is in urgent need of adopters.
Ozark Kat & K9 Shelter has an abundance of pups that need homes. With so many dogs and not enough adopters, the shelter is stuck.
They recently took in 14 puppies, with no space for them. These pups were dumped on a boat ramp, crammed into two small carriers, and were left with no food or water in the heat.
The shelter had no choice but to take them in and give them all the love and care they needed.
“We didn’t have any space… and it’s not just us,” Ozarks Kat & K9 shelter posted on Facebook. “Shelters everywhere are in crisis right now. We are all out of space. Out of resources.”
