SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Cardinals announced a new partnership with Solera Energy to generate energy savings and sustainability for the team using solar panels.
According to a press release, the 99-kilowatt system is expected to save $280,000 worth of energy over the next 20 years.
The panels have been installed on the roof above Suite 1-14 and the SpringNet Champions Club.
Solera Energy is also creating a section for fans to charge their phones and learn about its services, located at Gate Two, known as “Power Alley.” Solera Energy will be giving fans a chance to win a $20,000 solar system or battery backup during upcoming Springfield Cardinals home games…
