(KODE & KSN) — Joplin area residents traveling to Strafford will experience lane closures at nighttime.
Officials with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) have confirmed that lane closures will occur on I-44 between Main Street (Missouri Route 43) in Joplin to Missouri Route 125 in Strafford, Mo.
MoDOT officials confirm the lane closures will start from 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday, July 21, and continue to the work will continue to recur until late September. Crews will be collecting core samples for the ‘Forward 44’ project. Crews will begin the work on I-44 near Joplin’s Main Street and will move their way east toward Missouri Route 125 in Stafford as the work progresses…
